Felts Supports for Living provides person-centered residential and nursing services for individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities through Virginia's Community Living Waiver. Our mission is to empower individuals to live healthy, meaningful, and fulfilling lives while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and community inclusion. Our residential services include Sponsored Residential, Group Home, and Supported Living programs, each designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of the individuals we support. Sponsored Residential Services allow one or two individuals to live in a provider's home and become integrated into the provider's family life. Providers offer daily support, supervision, and opportunities for community engagement and personal growth. When a provider is unavailable, trained staff are arranged to ensure continuous support, care, and socialization. Felts also provides ongoing training and transition assistance to help individuals successfully adapt to their new home environment. Group Home Services provide a family-style living environment for three or four individuals residing together in one home. Support is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week through either a live-in provider or trained direct support professionals. Our group homes are designed to foster independence, meaningful relationships, community involvement, skill development, and a true sense of belonging. Supported Living Services enable individuals to live independently in their own home or apartment within the community while receiving the supports necessary to remain successful and safe. This service emphasizes personal choice and self-determination, allowing individuals to choose where they live, with whom they live, how they are supported, and what happens in their home. Supported Living encourages participation in social, recreational, educational, and community activities that promote a fulfilling and meaningful life, maximizing independence.
